“I met my wife when she was at her worst – hit by colorectal cancer and everything that follows cancer. She was devastated socially and financially. In adversity, I found her to be very resilient, courageous, and generous. She never gave up. After I discharged her from the clinic, I became her Pilates student and got on stage for a physique competition in Canada. We soon became friends, and she inspired me to write 10 novels and novellas (31 total over the past 3 years we have known each other – all in editing process, writing process, or submitted to publishers for review). As a husband to someone with cancer history and a son to someone with a mental health problem, I felt helpless. As always, Danielle, the love of my life, inspired me to break barriers and help her bring her ideas and concepts to reality through her brainchild I AM STILL ALIVE. I am very honored to serve my wife and her company to help her achieve her goals for cancer patients and survivors but also patients who would benefit from non-oncologic functional radiosurgery globally. There are several companies addressing the global burden of oncology; however, none have Founders who are both a cancer survivor and a cancer doctor that also happen to be husband and wife – I believe and think this is a match made in heaven.
