The Rising of an Indian Virgin is a light-hearted romance story of an Indian virgin Rudra,  who, against all odds, sets off to find his one true love.

Rudra is a radiation oncologist, a cancer specialty physician, in the United States.  He has everything one could want in life—apart from love. His quest to find a most suitable partner is obstructed by his inability to communicate, causing him to age completely alone, a virgin, while being a perfectly eligible bachelor. But when he suddenly begins to feel attracted to Pavati – who works as a caretaker for his dependent mother and elderly grandmother, has healing abilities, and belongs to the Navajo Native American tribe.  He finds himself stuck between his want to be loved unconditionally and his habit to avoid conflicts and confrontations which could challenge what he has believed in all his life.

Amidst all this chaos, Rudra’s marriage profile catches the attention of a notorious gangster and real estate Mogul, who strongly fancies Rudra for his daughter, Maithili. Who will Rudra choose as his Sita, his one true love, when he has to decide between the bias and prejudice of his past and the uncertainty of the future? Will he finally discover, that in order to find his true purpose and in order to belong, one has to be reborn again and again?
